Deciding to get married on a remote beach in the north of Scotland comes with it’s own set of challenges, but nome of this scared off this couple form Canada! Rachel & Iain came al the way form Canada to say their I do’s on Polin Beach, a place very close to Iain’s families hearts. On arrival, I got a very warm welcome from Iain’s mom and brother, after which Iain gave me a quick tour of the area (he confessed he was a bit surprised I actually manage to get to this very remote part of the world). With it being a beach wedding and totally reliant on the tide, they decided to do their creative session before the ceremony in order to catch the low tide, and then go and hunt down some Highland Cows as one do before your wedding!
It was refreshing to work with Rachel & Iain who was full of beans the whole day and just wanted to get beautiful, fun wedding photos. As for wee Douglas, hopefully you manage to dry off your feet by the end of the night 😉 Thanks for being such a sport!
